Just weeks to race up to Christmas and of course with no time to catch your breath. There's shopping, baking, eating, wrapping, concerts and events, friends and family, cards to write, and more eating.
In the midst of all the rushing, may we remember that not everything on our list needs to be crossed off? May we also take the time to stop and see the birth of a baby who was on a rescue mission?
We have no way to save ourselves from a lifetime of choosing my way while telling God we don't need Him. So, He chose to send His only son because He loves us and He wants to have a relationship with you, with me. And He chose to come as a helpless baby to experience and know everything we go through.
