Christmas decorating at our house isn't completed until the record player and Christmas albums are front and center. There's just something about those vinyl records that brings back some amazing Christmas memories.
Now Christmas is full of memories but that's not always a good thing. For many, this time of year brings up hard memories that leave you feeling lonely or hopeless. But it doesn't have to be that way anymore. There is hope to grab onto.
Two thousand years ago God saw our hurt and so He sent His son, Jesus, to bring healing that lasts. Healing from grief, fear, loneliness, brokenness. Jesus doesn't automatically take all the hardship away but He can give us His strength to make it through the tough times.
The Bible promises that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. Jesus brings hope and His empty tomb proves He has the power to change anything.
