In the Charlie Brown Christmas special, Linus comes on stage and quotes the angel's words from the Christmas story: "Fear not, for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy." Man, we could use some of that good news this Christmas!

With life-threatening terrorism and disease all over the news, that "fear not" that's repeated four times in the Christmas story is more than welcome. But why "fear not" when there's plenty to be afraid of? Because the Bible says about Jesus: "They will call Him Immanuel, which means, 'God with us'" (Matthew 1:23).

The God who rules the galaxies - who's bigger than anything that's bigger than us. Moving into your life. But it couldn't happen without Jesus coming - and dying for the sin that keeps us away from God. And this is no time to be without Him.

You know, we'd love to help you grab the life-saving, all-powerful hand of Jesus. Just text us at 888-NEED-HIM or ChatAboutJesus.com.

Because, as the Bible says, His "perfect love expels all fear" (1 John 4:18).
