Dear Friend,

You've never met Danny* - but, humanly speaking, he owes his life to friends like you. You helped him get to the place where God saved his soul - and probably his life.

Because Danny was on his way to becoming another tragic reservation statistic.

Danny grew up surrounded by men who spent much of their lives drunk. And often violent. Too many times, he was on the receiving end - including the time he was beaten to the point of nearly being paralyzed for life.

And then there were the funerals. The fresh graves of all the cousins and friends who died violently - some by their own hand. So much pain. So much grief. A heart turned hard.

Danny turned to alcohol to numb the pain, spending much of his life drunk. Repeating the cycle.

Like so many rez boys, he joined a gang - a "family" knit together by hurting others the way they'd been hurt. Becoming a "go to" guy for drugs gave him money and power.

Beyond dealing drugs to his own people, he led his younger sister into his life of drinking. Which led to the drunken night when she was assaulted by his friends. Danny knew he was to blame.

Then came the accident. Where his friends intentionally ran down his cousin on the highway. Where Danny later had to pick up some of the lifeless remains of his cousin's body. On a highway he has to drive frequently.

Danny was ready to die.

Then someone invited him to attend our Native youth conference called Warrior Leadership Summit (WLS). He almost didn't come. At the last minute, he changed his mind...

With hundreds of Native young people there, Danny's heart began to soften. And one night at WLS, he met that Savior for himself.

One year later - like so many - Danny became an On Eagles' Wings warrior, bringing Jesus to many reservations. He was helping some of the hardest guys on the rez meet his Jesus.

Today, Danny's in Bible school, and he's helping lead a reservation youth ministry to hard-core street kids. Like him. He's a new creation in Christ.

Did you see you in this story?

Your prayers literally helped pray him to his appointment with Jesus at WLS. His story is the story of many others - he came very lost and left with Christ in his heart.

I ask you now to reach out again to many Native young people like Danny. I'm asking you to give to bring some of this continent's most broken, most desperate young people to the place where so many find hope - to Warrior Leadership Summit!

Would you send a gift that can save a life at WLS? It's needed now. And it's deeply appreciated. Your gift will enable us to say yes to another "Danny." Another reservation young person, running out of hope, deeply loved by Jesus.

Living the answers to your prayers, the fruit of your gifts,

Ron Hutchcraft

P.S. - Your gift today will make the difference for a Native young person who needs this chance to hear about the Savior who loves them! Thank you!

Yes! I want to help send a Native Warrior to WLS!
