Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - October 2008 Prayer Update

If you're an Olympic athlete, victory is that coveted gold medal. If you're running for President, victory is the White House. If you're the angels of God, victory is a lost soul coming home to Jesus. I want to be on the side of the angels. We have a lot to celebrate!

Few things move me more than seeing lost people come to Jesus. I've been privileged to see it more times than I can count, but it never loses its power. And no matter how many respond to the Savior, heaven always rejoices, too. Because nothing matters more than a soul Jesus died for coming home to Him.

Heaven must have been busy this summer as God dramatically swept hundreds of Native young people to Jesus. The battle for young Native hearts is never easy - they may be some of the hardest hearts on the continent. But the story of the Summer of Hope 2008 is a story of amazing, hard fought victories.

These are your victories to celebrate, too. Because the rescue miracles of this summer could not happen without the prayer and gifts of friends like you. The enclosed Summer of Hope Special Report is a chronicle of some of those miracles.

And, Lord willing, this is only the beginning. This fall, our RHM Team will continue the battle for lost hearts on many fronts. Since my first days in ministry, my heart's been broken for young people without Christ. And I believe we may now be on the threshold of reaching more of them than ever before. Because we will be going right to where a world of lost young people spend so much of their time - the Worldwide Web. And we're going there with groundbreaking tools - nearly a year in the making - that start where lost young people are and creatively lead them to the Cross. If God chooses to "send the fire" to this altar we've prepared, the harvest could be historic.

And we're ready to launch the long-anticipated A Life That Matters video series. It's designed to carry our rescue training into small groups across the country, where everyday believers can be prepared to take the people they know to heaven with them. Again, if God blesses, so many could meet our Jesus. Add to this an aggressive schedule of community-wide rescue events, and this could be a season of wonderful victories for His Kingdom.

And you are very much a part of this. Without your prayer, we cannot win. And because some of our loyal friends just cannot give right now, your gift is really needed, deeply appreciated, and potentially decisive. We are simultaneously at the point of rescuing more dying people than ever before and at one of the most paralyzing financial times we've ever faced. The harvest is ripe, the combines are ready - now we really need the fuel. There's so much - so many lives - at stake.

Together, we have so many victories to celebrate from this amazing summer. And together, we have so many more victories yet to win for Jesus and those who have no hope without Him. Thank you for caring about those He thought were worth dying for.
