Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - February 2011 Prayer Update

Dear friend,

It's that time of year when many wives get their lost husband back. Yes, football season is finally over.

Of course, football fans don't necessarily have to watch the whole three hours (!) it takes to play that 60-minute game. If you're crunched for time, you can just turn it on when they sound that two-minute warning. Because that's when both teams throw caution to the wind and go for broke. It's when many games are decided. So you do whatever it takes to get points on the board.

There are a lot of Jesus-followers around the world who think we're living in a world that has heard God's two-minute warning. For those "last days" before the personal return of Jesus Christ. Nations with nuclear weapons...terrorism that can surface anywhere, anytime...nature in turmoil...financial and political upheaval...increasing danger around Israel - echoes of so many Biblical prophecies.

Many Bible-loving folks believe the world has never before looked so much like the world Jesus said He'd return to. It could be two-minute warning time. Time to throw caution to the wind...to go for broke...and to do whatever it takes to get people ready for eternity!

And that's the passion of our RHM Team as we take the field for this exciting new year. We want to be a part of the "fourth quarter" game plan of Jesus: that "this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14 ).

"All nations" - like the 60 nations from which young people have come to Christ at our TheDougandJonShow.com website. "All nations" - like the First Nations of this continent, the long-neglected, long-unreached Native people of North America. We're getting to their reservations as fast as we can with the breakthrough outreach of our On Eagles' Wings teams. And we're building Native leaders who can help reverse the 500-year rejection of Jesus as the "white man's God."

We know there's no faster way to reach a lost world than for every believer to be the missionary to the people they know. So, we're stepping up our plans to get our proven A Life That Matters rescue training to many more Christians in many more places. And we're moving aggressively to exponentialize the spread of His Gospel through the Internet and radio.

To the glory of God, we saw more people come to Christ in 2010 than almost any year in our history! A harvest, not only of our efforts, but of your prayer and your gifts. But it's only a fraction of the number we could reach - we must reach - with the tools God's given us.

So, it's full mobilization in 2011 to rescue far more than ever before. We charge into a lost world, shoulder-to-shoulder with you, fighting to win eternal victories and change eternal addresses. Because the clock is ticking relentlessly.

It's late in the game. The stakes are high - literally, do or die. The rescue team is on the field, ready to give it all we've got. Because of those "multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision." And because "the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision" (Joel 3:14 ).
