As you and I watch and observe our world, it appears that we are losing in this battle for lives and eternity. What will it take to turn the tide? There are many fronts to winning this battle - perhaps the biggest of which is just recognizing that we are in a war, and that believers everywhere are needed for combat!

"If Satan can capture one generation, he owns all those that come after." Ron Hutchcraft penned these words several years ago in his classic book, The Battle for a Generation. Today, the spiritual battle for lives has only intensified. The forces of darkness are fully mobilized to do all they can to keep lost people from ever hearing about the hope of Jesus, and to keep found people from authentically living for Jesus.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries believes passionately that to fight a spiritual battle we must fight with the right weapons, and with the right strategy. Politics won't win this battle. Doing good things won't win this battle. The only chance we have of winning is by employing the power of prayer to defeat the strongholds of the enemy, and a strategy that targets the changing of hearts. This was the mission statement of Jesus: "To seek and to save the lost" (Luke 19:10 ).

Our team is fully mobilized for this battle on several fronts. It is your prayer partnership that lays the foundation. We are aggressively waging a war - with a unique rescue strategy. We have troops mobilized right now to push back the darkness through a series of events designed to impact hard-to-reach lost people for the Gospel.

Another front to this battlefield is in Native America. We believe God has a unique role for the First Americans to play in bringing people to Jesus. This battle front is hard, expensive, but vital.

We're also on the front lines of reaching a world of young people with media tools that will impact this generation for Christ. We must get to the next generation with the hope of Jesus, before hearts become hard for a lifetime. Young people are the future - and they desperately need Jesus.

Finally, to win this battle, we must recruit more troops. RHM is aggressively pursuing ways to recruit more rescuers. We must motivate and equip believers everywhere to know how to fight this battle, and to be used by God to help change hearts for the Kingdom.

So much of the world now uses the internet as a basis for communication, community, information, and shared life experiences. Because of this reality, our team is utilizing this medium for so much of our strategy for this spiritual battle. It is key to winning this fight.
