Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - August 2009 Financial Update

Thank you to all of the friends of Ron Hutchcraft Ministries who have prayed for the ministry and supported us financially. It is only through your prayers and financial support that RHM is able to carry out the mission of sharing Jesus with those who do not know Him.

As the second half of 2009 begins, we are becoming more aware of the vast ministry opportunities that God is laying before RHM. The available ministry opportunities seem to only be limited by the available workers and available finances. In today's economic environment, many of you who are reading this may be out of work or have seen your resources diminished by the fall in the stock market. Many of you have limited funds to help support the ministry causes you would like to support. Even if you do not have the financial ability to support our ministry, we need you as a prayer warrior. Prayers will carry us through the battlefield.

One area that many of you may be able to help Ron Hutchcraft Ministries is by becoming an advocate to your friends, your church, and even board members of foundations. As an advocate, you can share what RHM has done for you personally and what the ministry shares with you through emails, free resources, and letters. Every ministry Ron Hutchcraft Ministries undertakes is designed to share Jesus or to equip other believers to share Jesus. It is RHM's mission to rescue the spiritually dying and mobilize the rescuers.

RHM's primary funding source is friends who believe in what we do. Please help expand our support by being an advocate. If your church has a missions committee, take our story to your committee and ask your church to help support our efforts. If you know someone who is involved with a foundation, take our story to them. Ask them to help support our ministry efforts, even if they are project-oriented, they can help with specific projects and outreaches. Share our ministry with your friends. Ask them to pray and support us financially.

You can see by the chart that we try to spend as much on direct ministry efforts as possible. Our 2008 audited financial statements show that we spent 82% of our funds on direct ministry purposes. Our fundraising efforts were at 6% and administration costs at 12%. Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) has a 2007 financial profile for RHM. We take our responsibility seriously to be good stewards of what God has provided through you.
