Download MP3 (right click to save) In the newest Narnia movie, Prince Caspian, there are some incredible battles to be fought between these huge armies of darkness and this little army of Narnia's King, the lion Aslan. I'm Ron Hutchcraft, and C. S. Lewis wove some really powerful Christian imagery into these Narnia stories with Aslan as the Christ figure. In the first movie, Aslan gave his life in exchange for one of the children who was destined to die for the wrong he had done. His death and then his miraculous coming back to life all took place at the Great Stone Table. In this next story set centuries later, all these armies are converging around the Great Stone Table. For us who love Jesus, that's the cross where the King of Glory offered His life to pay for our sin. And in our journey to have a life that matters, all the battles and all the answers lead back to one place - the place where the price was paid - the cross of Jesus. I hope you go there often in your heart. When you wonder if you're forgiven, go to the cross. When you wonder if you're worth much, go there and see what He paid for you. If you're needing love you can depend on, why don't you go back to where He died for you; where your heaven is guaranteed, where your hell was canceled. And tell the people you love about what He did on that cross for them. Jesus said at His death, "When I'm lifted up, I'll draw all men to myself" (John 12:32 ). There's a magnet in that hunk of wood that's hard to resist. You can find out a lot more about what happened on that cross and how to direct people there if you'll just go to our website, which is alifethatmatters.org, because that's why God put you here to live a life that matters.
