Download MP3 (right click to save) Okay, hundreds of beautiful women were waiting to audition for a show called America’s Top Model. Suddenly they erupted in total bedlam that ended up with three people arrested, six people hurt and the street littered with shoes and clothing. One girl said, “It was pretty scary.” So, whatever like happened to beautiful?
I’m Ron Hutchcraft, and let’s face it. It’s possible to be beautiful on the outside, and ugly on inside–male or female. The most beautiful women in the world are those who’ve got that glow, that radiance that has a lot more to do with what’s going on inside than outside. And that beauty is within any woman’s reach, unless she’s all about herself. There’s a magnetism about a woman who’s full of joy; who leaves you encouraged; who makes other people feel important rather than trying to focus everything on her; positive is beautiful; unselfish is beautiful; making people feel safe and special–that’s beautiful. God describes it this way: “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment. It should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful” (1 Peter 3:3-5 ). Now, how does a woman grow that kind of “unfading beauty?” She does what Mary did. The Bible says, “Mary sat at the Lord’s feet, listening to what He said” (Luke 10:39 ). You can tell the women who spend regular time with Jesus. You can tell by the glow. There’s a lot more spiritual encouragement at our website. Let me urge you to check it out.
