Download MP3 (right click to save) Our adult daughter has taken the plunge and gotten connected with one of those social networking sites on the Internet. There’s Facebook and MySpace, you know. Well, people sign up to be your online friends and all kinds of dialogue and personal info and photos are posted there—telling you more then you may ever want to know about a particular person. Our daughter didn’t want to keep some of what had accumulated on her page. She asked to have some of it removed and the reply from the website came back in four sobering words: “You cannot undo this.” I’m Ron Hutchcraft, and thinking about the things we think we’ve gotten away with, secrets we don’t want anyone to know about, things we hope no one ever finds out, but God’s cameras and recorders, they’re always running and you cannot undo this. Getting away with something is a myth. It’s only a matter of time. One Bible writer said, “Oh, Lord, you know me. You are familiar with all my ways” (Psalm 139:1 , 3). “The Lord will bring to light what is hidden in darkness” (1 Corinthians 4:5 ). You have no secrets from God. Live so you don’t have to keep any. It hurts when we think of some of the things that we can’t undo. We’re ashamed of them. There’s someone who can undo them. Speaking of Jesus dying on the cross for every wrong thing we’ve ever done, the Bible says, “The blood of Jesus purifies us from all sin” (1 John 1:6 ). When Jesus said on the cross, “Father, forgive them,” (Luke 23:34 ) He was forgiving you. He would love to do that this very day. Our website will help you begin a relationship with Him today. It’s ALifeThatMatters.org. God put you here to live a life that matters. This radio program references: Psalm 139:1 , 3; 1 Corinthians 4:5 ; 1 John 1:6 ; Luke 23:34 |
