So how are you feeling about what you see in the mirror each morning? Well apparently lots of folks aren’t happy with what they see, so much so that they’re willing to go under the knife to change some things. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons says that by 2015 they estimate 17% of Americans will be getting cosmetic procedures—more than 55 million cosmetic procedures. That’s a lot of nipping and tucking, huh?

I’m Ron Hutchcraft and let’s allow the Creator of you and me to weigh in on what He made. King David prayed this: “Oh, Lord, you created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful” (Psalm 139:13-14 ).

All of us have some things about ourselves we’re not happy with and we get down on ourselves. We feel like we’re not as good as other people, but you are an original. You’re a one-of-a-kind creation of a God who makes no mistakes. He knew exactly who you needed to be and what you needed in order to carry out the life that matters that He put you here for.

Here is a liberating fact of your creation: everything you need, you have. And what you don’t have, you don’t need because no one on earth gave you your worth and no one on earth can take it away. Now don’t put your worth in anyone else’s hands other than the hands of the One who made you for His glory.
