Oh, I know I’m going to see them again this Halloween. You know, those little kids running around in the red suits with the pitchforks; of course, if they only knew or if their parents knew who they’re pretending to be. See the devil loves for us to think of him like that, as this, you know, pitchfork boy.

Now sadly, Heath Ledger captured some of what the devil’s really about when he played the Joker in the recent Batman movie. Now that character so haunted him that a lot of people think it contributed to his tragic death. See terror is not the Joker’s means in the movie, it’s his end. His payoff is summed up in two words he says, “Everything burns.” Well that’s exactly what the enemy of your soul has in mind for you.

I’m Ron Hutchcraft and I’m really grateful that Jesus exposed the single outcome that the devil’s really seeking in every life, including you and your family. He says, “The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy” (John 10:10 ). Now make no mistake about it, that temptation in front of you, that compromise or detour that looks so good—it’s designed to steal everything you care about and to kill and to destroy any life that matters.

Oh sure, it looks good; Satan’s not stupid, he doesn’t say, “You want to come to hell with me?” But don’t be fooled, he’s got nothing in that beautiful package but death and destruction. He is the life-taker, Jesus is the life-giver and that life is vividly described for you on our website which I would invite you to visit today.
