Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Same God

As I ate lunch today a thought hit me. It wasn't an original thought, and it wasn't something that I haven't thought before. But it was more of a sequence of thoughts that have never come to me quite like this.

While eating, I realized that I had not thanked God for providing my food. And the same God who provided me with my lunch:

• is the same God who provided a nice house for my family to live in;
• is the same God who gave me a beautiful, loving wife to spend the rest of my life with;
• is the same God who has blessed me with two beautiful children, an adopted daughter, and adopted granddaughter;
• is the same God who protected me on the way to work today from harms way;
• is the same God who blessed me with a great job;
• is the same God who blessed the world with His creativity and I get to enjoy it;
• is the same God who rescued my life from certain spiritual death when He gave His Son so that I could have life and have it more abundantly;
• and is the same God who trusts me with the message that can save others from an eternity without God.

He's the very same God!

As you go throughout the rest of your day, take some time to give thanks and praise to this same God who has blessed your life in more ways than a library of blogs could express. And who do you know who still needs to know this same God?
