A Life That Matters Conference is coming to Buffalo, NY on Friday evening, October 23, at 6:00 pm, hosted by New Life Assembly of God. Several local churches in the Buffalo area are coming together on this special night to discover how God wants to use everyday believers to make an eternal impact on their world for Jesus. It's time to get out of the stands and get into the game as God's people!

The conference will include worship, Bible teaching, and the opportunity for participants to practice in a safe environment what is being taught. I will have the privilege to be the Presenter of Ron Hutchcraft's A Life That Matters material, and we are expecting God to accomplish some incredible things in our midst as a result of His faithfulness and our obedience to what He says in His Word.

Participants will learn:

• How God has positioned them to influence the culture.
• How to get into the lives of today's lost person in ways that are effective.
• How to confidently have spiritual conversations with lost people.
• How to confidently and clearly share the Gospel with a lost person in words they can easily understand,
• And much, much more!!

It will look like you won't have time for this in your calendar. Believe me. every obstacle will be in your way of attending if you let it. Let me just put it plainly at the risk of being misunderstood. If someone told us they had free tickets to attend our favorite event (a pro football game, the World Series, a great theatrical presentation), we would clear our schedules, hire a babysitter, and do whatever it takes to be able to attend. But when it comes to attending something that will help us hear from God and discover how He wants to use us to keep some lost people from spending eternity in hell, we might attend if there is nothing else going on and if we feel like it.

Here's my action step for you: ask God is He wants you to attend.
