In the previous two blogs, we have discussed several ways we as God's people can bless others this Christmas season. Today we will finish this blog series by sharing another idea for reaching out to people who will face this Christmas having never known the Christ of Christmas.

It's simple but requires some awareness of who is around you. Reach out to people who might not otherwise get gifts at Christmastime. Get creative! For many reasons, there are some people who simply don't get gifts at Christmas. Make this a family outreach! There are national ministries that you can partner with to distribute Christmas gifts: Operation Christmas Child and Angel Tree, to name a couple. Or you may get opportunties to bless people right under your nose, so to speak.

Locally, there are organizations who seek to help distribute gifts. Here is what my family likes to do: give directly to individuals when possible. Identify people you know that you could give gifts to, and it might not even be a traditional gift that you give to them. It may be something you own or something that has personal value to you that would be a tremendous blessing to someone else.
