Every Christian is called to be Indiana Jones! We're on a great mission to rescue the valuable - in the case of a Christ-follower, that means spiritually lost people so valuable to God that He would die for them. Sometimes our mission is filled with obstacles, so we've got to know how to remove them so the people we love and care about can have a chance at Jesus.

In this video and in the next blog post, Ron Hutchcraft explains what some of those obstacles are and how we as spiritual rescuers can overcome them.

It's courage + God's wisdom I pray for to speak up when I know I need to say something to a family member about her need for Jesus but my husband is present and I don't know if it is not wanting to sound "religious" and hypocritical or if it is just Satan buffeting me. Well I know it is him too, but I fear sounding holier than thou' in front of my husband. I want to keep it about JESUS.

Fear is something that takes me off of my focus on Jesus. The way I combat fear is to recognize that God is at work in my life and in those people that concern me. Jesus said two very important things, "Trust God with all your heart mind and soul, and love others as yourself." That is my job. Changing people is not what God wants me to do. He wants me to live as an example. It is through the Holy Spirit that conviction takes place and lives are changed. Loving others is my goal.
