How do you find yourself reacting when life seems to be totally against you? For me and for many others I know, our responses to life's hardships usually include pouting, anger, frustration, and the desire to quit. Of course, every situation we face is different, but I found something in the Bible that just might be the clue we need for helping us walk through difficulties with a winning perspective.

My wife will tell you that one of the things I dislike the most is taking care of dirty dishes. They stink. They have everybody's leftover lasagna on them, and they take up space in the sink. In fact, this actually described how our sink looked yesterday. Each time the sink is full of dirty dishes, my family makes a choice - we either ignore them for the time being or we clean them.

Do you remember the days of Show and Tell in elementary school? This is when someone from your class would bring something from home that they valued and they would show it to the class and tell everyone all about it. I ask adult audiences on occasion if they remember what they took to Show and Tell when they were young, and I've gotten some very interesting answers. But did you know that Show and Tell is not only a looked-forward-to day in the life of a child, but it is also the game plan for being an effective witness for Jesus?

Okay, so I recently celebrated another birthday, though I vowed after my last one that I would stop having them. I wanted to just keep living life as normal and avoid the numbers game. But thanks to my friends, it didn't work.
