One of the easiest things to do as a Christian is to be a really caring, moral person and never tell people why. This is Camouflage Christianity. On the other hand, is it really necessary to wear bright-colored Christian t-shirts and carry a 50-pound Bible everyday to get the point across? Here are a few suggestions from our staff that they have found helpful in letting people know they are Christ-followers in ways that have been appealing and not appalling. These are also proven ways to help initiate spiritual conversations. Try to pick at least one and act on it this week, and let me know how it went.

While we have developed the largest Christian subculture in the history of Christianity, unfortunately we have lost the culture we have been called to reach. To reach the culture of non-Christians once again, we must ultimately do what it takes to break down the walls we have built that are keeping lost people from getting to Jesus.

Doomsday Clock
The famous Doomsday Clock is expected to be moved once again after sitting idle for three years. The Clock, established by nuclear scientists back in the 1940s, is a visible prediction of global catastrophe, with the hands of the clock moving in response to changing world events (Read the Fox News Report).

When it comes to picking teams to root for in athletic events or competitions of any kind, my bent is to pull for the underdog. There's just something about seeing the big guy get beat that really gets me going! And I've often wondered what it is that inspires underdogs to ascertain such a hope of defeating the much better competition. I've landed on what I think is the main formula for their success.
