The media reports that fuel prices have not reached their peak, and every trip to the gas station confirms those reports. The greatest impact of these increases on Ron Hutchcraft Ministries is starting now and will continue through the Summer of Hope in August.
The hard financial facts facing Ron Hutchcraft Ministries are:
- Transportation costs for the Summer of Hope Native outreaches will increase by at least 50% over last year.
- Food for the Summer of Hope outreaches and On Eagles’ Wings team will increase by at least 10% over last year.
- Shipping and mailing costs have increased at a time when inquiries through the RHM website have increased dramatically and more lifesaving resources are being mailed as a result.
- Printing costs increased just as RHM is preparing to have printed the “A Life That Matters” small group material to be available this Fall.
But, our faith lies with God!
We can choose to listen to the news about how bad the economy is and reduce ministry accordingly, or we can choose to listen to God and go where He is leading. Many times in the past we have listened to where God was leading and He always provided the finances through generous partners. For example,

Two years ago we were looking at reducing ministry the next year to compensate for a financial shortfall and nothing indicated we would receive the needed funds. The RHM team asked God to provide funds to pay off all obligations by yearend, and within two weeks God provided the funds to catapult RHM to a yearend with all bills paid.

During the construction of the RHM headquarters, a huge amount was needed to pay for sheetrock. Ron and a staff member prayed together and that very day God provided the exact amount through a generous gift.
- A volunteer construction crew, traveling on donated flight miles, flew in to complete some needed construction work on ministry property and the materials they needed to complete the work arrived at the RHM headquarters at the same time their plane landed at the local airport.
We again find our ministry totally dependent on His grace to provide the financial need to carry out His work. Please pray and seek whether God is asking you to partner with RHM to meet these rising financial needs, and join us in prayer for a great harvest through the exciting outreaches described above.
