Man, did you see that blazing fire they had at Universal Studios not long ago? You know I was there with the family years ago and we saw all those great sets that were now going up in flames. Some really famous backdrops you know, city streets and a famous courthouse and big homes. Of course there was a secret about all of them, they were just facades. They looked really impressive on the outside, but if you peep behind the facade there was nothing there. Of course that kind of reality is universal.

I’m Ron Hutchcraft and reality is that there are people who look like they’re all together on the outside, but behind their facade it just feels empty; might be a feeling you know. Now if it’s a life that matters you want, it’s worth asking the question: After all I’ve experienced, how come I’m so empty?

Jesus actually spoke to this hollowness inside when He was talking with a woman who’d been trying to find one relationship that would satisfy her heart and she never had. He likened it to the well she went to every day for water. He said, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst” (John 4:13 ). Behind the facade, seems like we’re always turning up empty; we’re thirsty again—till we meet Jesus.

What He did for that woman he waits to do for you. He died to do it for you; to forgive what separates you from Him and give you the relationship and the love you were made for so you don’t have to be thirst again. It’s a relationship with Him—a relationship we’d love to help you get started in.
