Download MP3 (right click to save) I’m a four seasons kind of guy, you know. So I’m happy this time of year. I love it when summer turns to fall and fall turns to winter, winter turns to spring. Because each season has some great and a few not so great things about it and the seasons are changing again. I’m Ron Hutchcraft and the prophet Daniel said this, “The God of heaven changes the times and seasons.” Yes, in nature and more importantly in our lives. There’s a season of wilderness, success, a season of legacy, renewal, a season of restlessness, of suffering. Now you may be experiencing a change of season in your life right now. You know, it helps to remember this: All seasons are God seasons. “He changes the times and seasons,” (Daniel 2:19-20 ) the Bible says. God chooses and God changes the seasons based on three factors: What will bring Him the greatest glory and you the greatest good right now and you the greatest growth. In each season you need God in a little different way so you get to see and experience a different part of Him that you haven’t really experienced before. It’s part of a lifetime process of knowing God better and better. Every season has its dangers and its possibilities. Which one wins depends on whether or not you declare it God’s season. So pray the prayer for all seasons first prayed by Moses when his season was changing, “Show me your glory” (Exodus 33:18 ). He will in every season.
