Download MP3 (right click to save) Our six-year-old grandson amazed us all the other day. He’d been praying for one of our family members to give his heart to Jesus. And when his mom told him that his prayers had been answered, he said, “That’s incomprehensible!” What’s incomprehensible is how he even knows that word! Then he went on to pray like this, “Dear Lord, please do incomprehensible things in lots of other people’s lives, too.” Well, I’ll say amen to that! I’m Ron Hutchcraft, and I think my grandson’s on to something. God is wanting to do much bigger things than we’ve been trusting Him for. Like me, maybe, you’re tendency is to over-worry, over-work and under-pray. And a life that matters is fueled by consistently trusting God for things only God can do. God extends this awesome invitation in the Bible. “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3 ). Now that’s after it says, “Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth…Nothing is too hard for you” (Jeremiah 32:17 ). Wouldn’t this be a great time for you to unload something that’s obviously too hard for you? God is a God of amazing breakthroughs, and changed hearts, and unexplainable outcomes. He turns the impossible into answers that are…well, incomprehensible. It’s one of the secrets of a life that matters. Which is what our whole website is about, and I want to invite you to visit us there. It’s alifethatmatters.org, because that’s why you’re here—to live a life that matters.
