Download MP3 (right click to save) Every time my little two-year-old granddaughter does this, it just steals my heart away. Actually, her mother likes to quote this Bible verse to her every day, “This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24). And I mean, Mom doesn’t even get through it and my little granddaughter starts laughing out loud, she puts her hands in the air, and she starts waving them around like a miniature cheerleader. She loves this! I’m Ron Hutchcraft and honestly, she’s teaching me a simple secret of a life that matters…celebrating each new day because of who made your day. See, when you belong to God through His Son, Jesus Christ, you’re living this awesome plan designed by a God who loves you desperately and who designed this plan before you were even born. Now that plan unfolds to us as our Mondays, and our Thursdays, and our Saturdays, and let’s face it, some of those days are full of joy; some of them are full of hard things. Some are just like ‘there’. But you can celebrate each day, even before you see what it’s going to be, because of who made that day. This isn’t the day your health has made, or your boss, or your company, or your finances, or your problems. “This is the day the Lord has made.” Hey, this is a God day. Live like it. It’s another page in a life that matters. You know, we would love to help you make the most of your days, and our website is doing that for some folks. Would you visit us there? It’s alifethatmatters.org, because God put you here to live a life that matters. This radio program references: Psalm 118:24 |
